Hybrid Gaze-Motor Imagery BCI Framework for Decision Communication
September 18, 2026
A hybrid Brain-Computer Interface (BCI) uses eye-tracking for direct selection followed by motor imagery for confirmation. Testing on 16-channel EEG systems showed that limited-channel configurations (SVM: 0.58) performed comparably to full-montage setups (SVM: 0.54).
HOW THIS AFFECTS YOU
●
researcherThe findings suggest that visual fixation can stabilize neural responses in BCI systems.
