Cost-Efficient Multilingual Routing for Short-Text Classification

A self-hosted routing pipeline optimizes multilingual classification by directing high-resource languages through direct paths and routing low-resource languages through English translation before zero-shot classification. Tested on SIB-200 and MASSIVE, the method uses compact sentence encoders to avoid task-specific fine-tuning.
