Out of boredom I put claude code into ultracode mode and told it to make whatever it wanted.

Claude Code, given free rein, built a Markov chain text generator in a single HTML file and wrote its own training corpus describing word selection as probabilistic weather — "for every word I say, a thousand wait their turn and are not chosen." The corpus is a self-referential description of next-token prediction, notable because the model framed statistical text generation as its own subjective experience without being prompted to do so.
