SpaceX Is Buying Cursor

SpaceX is acquiring Anysphere, maker of the Cursor AI coding assistant, for $60bn in SpaceX shares, expected to close by end of September. The deal was pre-negotiated in April as a $60bn buyout option or a $10bn partnership fee. SpaceX cited its Colossus supercomputer cluster, equivalent to one million H100s, as the infrastructure backbone for the combined AI development effort.
