Models.dev launched as an open-source, community-contributed database of AI model specs, pricing, and capabilities, accessible via a single API endpoint returning structured JSON. It uses AI SDK model IDs for lookups and includes SVG provider logos. Useful for developers building model-routing or cost-optimization tooling who currently scrape disparate provider docs.
