LegalHalluLens Audits Hallucination Direction and Type Across 249K Legal Clause Instances

Across 510 contracts and 249,252 clause-level instances from CUAD, LegalHalluLens measures hallucination rates at ~52% aggregate but reveals a ~38-point within-model gap across four claim types — numeric, temporal, obligation, and factual. A Risk Direction Index scalar distinguishes omission from invention bias, enabling deployment-comparable risk assessment.
