Ontology-Based Tokenizer Preserves Physical Units and Notation in Portuguese

TOTEN replaces BPE tokenization with a declarative ontology-driven framework that classifies physical quantities, units, and symbolic expressions as typed regions rather than fragmenting them into arbitrary subwords. It couples deterministically with Pint for dimensional analysis, Unicode for typographic classification, and RSLP for Portuguese morphology. Targets Brazilian Portuguese engineering and scientific text.
