Constrained Candidate Selection Lifts Meeting Timestamp Recall from 32% to 50%

Recasting timestamp prediction as selection over retrieved candidates rather than free-form generation improves Recall@5 from 31.9% to 50.0% and reduces MAE from 837s to 761s on 420 queries using Mistral-7B-Instruct. Parseable output rate jumps from 373 to 419 of 420 queries, eliminating most hallucinated timecodes.
