CPIL Siamese Framework Improves Hallucination Detection via Paraphrase Invariance

CPIL uses a two-stage Siamese training approach — contrastive pretraining with paraphrastic positives and same-document opposite-label hard negatives — to train a lightweight hallucination classifier without LLM-as-evaluator costs. Evaluated on LLM-AggreFact benchmark, it improves over prior classifiers while reducing annotation and inference overhead.
