Pitch Features and F-TDNN Improve Dysarthric Speech Recognition by 4.65%

Adding pitch features to a Factorized Time Delay Neural Network (F-TDNN) yields a 4.65% relative improvement in isolated word recognition for dysarthric speech on the TORGO database. The paper also surveys acoustic feature combinations across multiple acoustic model architectures for low-resource children's ASR generalization.
